Hampton Inn receives Two Palmetto Certification

The Hampton Inn & Suites/Summit Pointe Conference & Events Center in Spartanburg received the Two Palmetto Certification from the South Carolina Green Hospitality Alliance.
The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Green Hospitality Program is a voluntary program designed to help South Carolina’s hospitality industry reduce the environmental impact of its operations and incorporate environmental stewardship and sustainability in its business practices; and promote and recognize hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality facilities for their environmentally-conscious practices.
DHEC partnered with the S.C. Hospitality Association to form the S.C. Green Hospitality Alliance. Facilities must complete a certification process centered on green practices.
The 126 room Hampton Inn & Suites and attached 19,000 square-foot Summit Pointe Conference & Events Center is on the westside of Spartanburg on Spartan Boulevard.
