Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) and Pinnacle Hospitality LLC have signed an agreement to build a brand new Residence Inn by Marriott hotel at the Westgate Center development. Work on the hotel, which is aimed at the extended-stay business and leisure markets, will begin this summer and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2017.
The 105-room Residence Inn Westgate will become part of the Westgate Center development which includes the Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Summit Pointe Conference & Events Center, Spartan 16 Theater and City Range restaurant. Residence Inn by Marriott hotel guest rooms are well-appointed and feature a convenient full kitchen, spacious bathrooms with walk-in shower, signature sofa for relaxing, and sleek desk design that offers room to spread out and work in comfort.
