Pinnacle Hospitality’s Holiday Inn Express Spartanburg North, located at 161 Sha Lane, was recently recognized by Intercontinental Hotel Groups (IHG) as Newcomer of the 2010 Year. This property opened its doors to the Upstate in March of 2010 featuring all of the bells and whistles from Holiday Inn Express’s new brand relaunch.
The Newcomer of the 2010 Year distinction is a distinction given to the best new-build hotel nationwide. Polly Foster, the General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Spartanburg North, was in attendance in Las Vegas when the award was announced during IHG’s Annual Conference. The property was competing against hundreds of Holiday Inn Expresses across the nation. Pinnacle Hospitality Executive Vice President, Suresh Mathur, stated that he expects big things for this property and Pinnacle Hospitality in the upcoming year!
